is the JustGive Guide? The JustGive Guide compiles 1,000 nationally recognized charities and categorizes them into 19 cause areas for easy-to-use navigation. It was developed for those who care about a particular cause but are not necessarily familiar with relevant charities.

does JustGive choose the charities for the JustGive Guide?

in the JustGive Guide must meet the following certain criteria.

Will
other charities be added to the JustGive Guide? In
the past, we have offered nonprofits the opportunity to apply
for inclusion in the Guide, and we add them as long as they
meet the above criteria. We are currently not adding new nonprofits.

Are
the charities in the JustGive Guide charged a fee?
None of the charities
included in the JustGive Guide have paid to be included here.
We receive no commission or benefit from charities
included in our database.

if your favorite charity is not included in the JustGive Guide?
Even if your favorite
charity doesn't come up when you search the Guide,
our search engine will find it in our comprehensive database of over 1,000,000 registered nonprofits, which is powered by GuideStar.

public charity founded in 1994. GuideStar's mission is to revolutionize

GuideStar provides JustGive’s comprehensive database of 1,000,000
charities, making it easy for individuals to find detailed information
about charities that match their interests.

do you find a charity? JustGive
provides several search options to increase your chances of
finding charitable organizations that best suit your needs and
interests.
Browse
by category – Our JustGive Guide list, organized into
19 categories according to causes, includes 1,000 leading
charities that have been screened and recommended by experts
in both the private and nonprofit sectors.
Search
by keyword or charity name
– Using the GuideStar database you can
search by various criteria, including keyword(s), charity
name, city, state, or zip code.

is an online matching service available

The VolunteerMatch service provides
an easy and innovative way for individuals to get involved in
the community and also provides organizations a new way to recruit
volunteers. The service is nationwide and free for all volunteers
and agencies.
