BUY A TOY FOR A CHILD
Over the
past 53 years, through their Toys for Tots program, the U.S. Marines
have distributed millions of toys to hundreds of millions of children
across the nation.
TO
DONATE A TOY TO A CHILD, YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS:
1.
Simply
choose your state from the drop-down box to find a drop-off
location near you. Toys should be new and unwrapped, so they can
sort them according to age and gender.
Coordinators pick up these toys and store them in a central warehouse
where the toys are sorted. At Christmas, Toys for Tots volunteers,
with the assistance of local social welfare agencies, church groups,
and other local community agencies, distribute toys to the needy
children of the community.
2.
Donate a toy online by contacting Toys for Tots. This is an
extremely easy and convenient way to make a difference.
