Plant Trees
All
together, these organizations have planted millions of trees,
which reduce pollution, provide homes for wildlife, provide food
for people, and restore the natural balance.

American
Forests
American Forests' mission is to improve the environment with
trees and forests through science, education, and action. American
Forests is the oldest national citizen conservation organization
in the U.S. We were established in 1875 by a group of individuals
who wanted to ensure for the future all the benefits of trees and
forests.
Trees for Life
Trees
for Life empowers people by demonstrating that in helping each other,
we can unleash extraordinary power that impacts our lives. We do
this by enabling people around the world to help plant fruit trees
in developing countries. Each tree protects the environment and
provides a low-cost, self-renewing source of food for a large number
of people. Our activities include three elements: education, health
and environment.
Rainforest
Action Network
Rainforest Action Network's mission is to protect the Earth's rainforests
and support the rights of their inhabitants through education, grassroots
organizing, and non-violent direct action.
National Arbor Day Foundation
The purpose of the foundation is to engage in educational and charitable
activities including officially promoting the annual observance
of arbor day; creating an awareness and appreciation of trees as
a fundamental, renewable natural resource; and stimulating a world-wide
program of tree and horticultural planting and care.
