About Us
JustGive is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase overall giving by capturing a new generation of donors through programs that educate the public on the importance of philanthropy, connect donors with the charities and causes they care about, and provide them with everyday means of giving. As the central gateway to giving, JustGive provides people with the resources, services, and tools they need to give – whether it is their money, their time, or their goods. JustGive is focused on building technology that enables individuals to transfer material gifts into charitable donations called “New Giving.” One of the most effective ways JustGive accomplishes this is through our Gift Center, which includes our Charity Wedding Registry, Gift Certificates, Wish List, and unique Giving Baskets.

Charity Search
Our comprehensive database enables individuals to donate to any of the 1,000,000 nonprofits in the U.S., including small, local organizations that have limited fundraising channels. This database also includes an extensive amount of financial and program information on each charity, enabling people to become smarter, more educated donors. Individuals can search by cause, program or by zip code to find their charity. We also offer our platform to corporations wanting to provide a charitable giving channel to their customers or employees – such as rebates for product purchases, credit card points purchases, and gift certificate redemption.

Helping Nonprofits
In times of economic hardship – as the flow of government and grant money slows down and demands for services rise – charitable programs that serve the community suffer the most. By exposing the public to creative ways of giving to charity through new mediums, JustGive can redirect millions of dollars to philanthropy. Currently, few public charities have websites or online donation capabilities due to the high cost and infrastructure involved. In addition, the cost of off-line fundraising can be as high as 150% for new donor acquisition. By providing supporters and potential supporters with access to cost-effective, user-friendly resources, and Internet-enabled tools, we help them become knowledgeable and involved donors while providing them with the highest return on their charitable investment. Our corporate programs bring new donors and new funding to charities that would not have received it otherwise – at no cost.

Everyday Giving
Visitors can donate directly to any of the 1,000,000 U.S. registered public charities, find local volunteer opportunities, and review detailed financial information about each charity. Our gift services, such as our Charity Wish List and Charity Wedding Registry, allow individuals make a wish list for their birthday, wedding, anniversary, or any occasion so friends and family members can make a donation in lieu of a material gift. In addition, our business development partnerships will expand the capability of charitable giving through credit card points redemption and traditional gift certificates.

Empowering Individuals
Individual giving is always the largest single source of donations. It accounts for 76.5 percent of all estimated giving in 2005, but many of the medium and higher income individuals are giving at a lower rate than the lowest income level in our country. The Internet is a powerful way to connect and access these individuals. JustGive targets both existing donors who can give more as well as new and younger potential donors who are active Internet users.
