Chimp Haven's mission is to provide a permanent home to the hundreds of chimpanzees no longer needed in biomedical research, entertainment or as pets. Chimp Haven is built on the expertise of individuals devoted to the most professional and humane care and management of chimpanzees.
Performing Animals Welfare Society
PAWS believes that captive wildlife and exotic animals used for human entertainment need protection from abuse and cruelty. PAWS provides temporary and permanent shelter for mistreated, abandoned and retired performing and exotic animals. PAWS also strives to educate the public about the abuses of animals in the entertainment world, circuses, zoos, theme parks, and fairs.
