JustGive wants to thank all our generous donors for making Giving Season one of our most successful. JustGive passed through over $17 million dollars in 2006 making a difference to over 15,000 nonprofit organizations. With a 30% increase in our donors we can see we've inspired people to make giving part of everyday life.
How Much to Give
The average American gives about 3.1% of their income to charity. That's $4.50 a day, a little more than you spend on coffee and a bagel. While this is the average, there is a movement to give more. Independent Sector, a coalition of leading nonprofits, foundations and corporations, is encouraging us to "Give Five" -- donate 5% of our income and volunteer five hours a week.

Charity Gift Center
Our most successful feature is our Charity Gift Certificates. More and more individuals and companies are looking for a more meaningful gifts and the gift of charity is both meaningful and inspirational. Join the giving movement and make the gift of charity this year.
Our Charity Gift Center also includes our Charity Wish List, Charity Gift Baskets and the extremely popular Charity Wedding Registry.
Support Education
Help our schools and their students by supporting an organization working to improve education. Our corporate sponsor, Oracle, is committed to using their technology and resources to advance education in innovative ways, promote diversity, enrich the life of communities, and protect the environment.
Literacy
Helping adults improve their literacy skills has a direct and measurable impact on the education and quality of life of their children.
Mentoring
After-school and tutoring programs are not only helpful for getting students off the streets, but they're also improving test scores, overall achievement, and social skills.
Save the Environment
Global warming is one of the most serious challenges facing us today. Help protect our environment by supporting an organization working to save the environment. Our corporate sponsor, Aveda, strives to set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility around the world.
